So what do teen volunteers do?

The tasks for teen volunteers vary from library to library. Teen volunteers may help with teen or youth programming, make displays, prepare craft activities, or shelve materials.

Starting August 2011, teen volunteers may apply for the Techno Teen Computer Assistant program at North Sarasota Library. Read more here (PDF, 1 pg.).

Here are the steps to sign up to volunteer:
   
   
     The county application takes 1-2 weeks to process. Once this is done, someone from the library will contact you to set up a time to come in and train. Please bring the first two signed forms in when you come for training. If you have any questions, please contact the volunteer coordinators listed below:
